 KESTER'S FITNESS CLUB Minimize

 kester4.JPG
"Gettin' Fit with Kester!"

Kingston Elementary students and staff are "Gettin' Fit with Kester" as they earn miles by walking around a .25 mile track.

Kester's Fitness Club is a great opportunity to stay healthy and have fun by keeping track of miles walked and earn awards for achieving each mileage goal.

HOW IT WORKS...Students walk during their recess time.  Each time a student walks a lap their card will get punched.  Awards are given for each mileage goal achieved.

THE TRACK...right now our track is outlined in the grass around the playground.  Fundraising efforts are under way to fund a paved track!  Anyone with fundraising ideas or who would like to help please contact Mrs. Thomas at 683-2284.

VOLUNTEERS...We are looking for volunteers to help during recess time to punch cards.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the elementary office at 683-2284.

Students will receive recognition for their fitness efforts at the monthly Awards Assembly which is held the first Wednesday of each month.  Students will receive a certficate, have their picture placed on the "Fitness Wall", and be entered into a drawing for healthy prizes.

GREAT JOB TO ALL OF OUR WALKERS!
